System 1: This system looks a lot more formal than the other one, so it depends what you are going for. Because it is a program for kids, I think the second system works better (it is a lot more friendly with the curved lines and illustrative qualities). I think the new logo is a lot better! The “plus” is more integrated into the logo and it looks more cohesive!
System 2: The letterhead seems a little busy and confined with all of the curvy lines around the body of the letter. I think it is working better on the business card and the envelope, so try carrying that out in the letterhead (having the brown on the bottom with the plant growing out of it and not outlining the body of the letter) this will make the pieces more consistent too. The brown on the bottom looks kind of like a desert and the roots look like the dry ground is cracking, so maybe the brown is a tint of the green so it looks more lively and it will brighten it up, too.
